★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Civitella Cesi un bel borghetto su uno sperone tufaceo assai isolato in mezzo ai Monti della Tolfa, dove il tempo sembra essersi fermato, con un unico piccolo bar nella piazzetta, punto di ritrovo degli abitanti della zona. A ferragosto fanno la sagra delle fettuccine fatte in casa. Più che un castello vero e proprio c'è il palazzo fortificato dei Torlonia in evidente stato di abbandono.
 Civitella Cesi a beautiful hamlet on a very isolated tufaceous spur in the middle of the Tolfa Mountains, where time seems to have stopped, with a single small bar in the square, a meeting point for the inhabitants of the area. In mid-August they do the festival of homemade fettuccine. More than a real castle there is the fortified palace of the Torlonia family in an evident state of neglect.

Il castello, attualmente in restauro, occupa il lato destro della piazza principale. Il resto del borgo si sviluppa su due arterie convergenti davanti al castello.
