Le tombe non sono accessibili, tutto è pericolante e invaso dalle erbacce. Un esempio dell'incuria italiana nel gestire siti storici. The necropolis would be really interesting if it wasn't completely left to itself. The road is passable only with a tractor or an off-road vehicle. Purtroppo ecco un altra necropoli importantissima,ma completamente dimenticata,gli scavi vennero eseguiti negli anni '60 dal re di Svezia.. Ma noi italiani ci abbiamo messo ben poco per valorizzarla basti pensare alla segnaletica praticamente assente,questo sito e'un dei pochi che presenta tracce di una vera città etrusca, per coprire i resti e' stata fatta una tettoia a dir poco discutibile,li in torno ci sono cisterne e vialetti pieni di arbusti e erbacce,belle tombe a tumulo nella necropoli del Vignale e tagliate, molto interessante quella delle Poggette anche queste abbastanza abbandonate,con tettoie protettive, assai fatiscenti! Ma i resti peggio conservati sono quelli del castello dei Di Vico e della chiesa di San Giovenale,ove si dice sia sepolto tal Giovenale Vescovo di Narni, ormai ridotti a ruderi e con varie parti cadenti..... Presenta caratteristiche tipiche del VI secolo e similitudini con una parte della necropoli di Cerveteri, specialmente nella disposizione interna dei letti funebri. Il settore in cui sono conservati i resti dell'abitato è attualmente completamente invaso da ortiche ed erbacce. Anche in questo caso, le tombe sono state scavate su un bancone tufaceo in mezzo alle campagne tra Monteromano, Blera e Barbarano Romano. Si tratta dei resti di un abitato etrusco (testimonianze dal VII secolo a.C.) con la presenza di diverse tombe (VII - III secolo a.C.). Vi si trova anche una chiesetta (IV secolo d.C.) che era intitolata a S. Giovenale e anche i resti del Castello medioevale dei Di Vico (XIII secolo).
