★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pur sapendo che quello di Cassinale non fu un vero castello ma un fortilizio di campagna difeso solo da un fossato e che già alla fine del 1600 veniva descritto come "rovinato", la visita risulta comunque deludente perché di quell'edificio costruito nel 1400 rimangono solo alcuni tratti di muro a "spina di pesce" e qualche altro particolare come un'arco a tutto sesto ed un balcone di legno a sud-ovest dove forse correva il cammino di ronda.
Le modifiche apportate dalla fine del 1700 ad oggi lo hanno stravolto lasciando solo la sagoma esterna.
 Although knowing that Cassinale was not a real castle but a country fort defended only by a moat and which was already described as "ruined" at the end of the 1600s, the visit is still disappointing because of that building built in the 1400s only remain some sections of "herringbone" wall and some other details such as a round arch and a wooden balcony to the south-west where the patrol path perhaps ran.
The changes made from the late 1700s to today have distorted it, leaving only the external shape.
