★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bel posto pieno di pace. L'unica cosa che mi ha fatta scappare sono le antenne di trasmissione.:troppe e sicuramente rumorose, non credo sia salutare salire lassù frequentemente.
Nice place full of peace. The only thing that made me escape are the transmission antennas: too many and certainly noisy, I don't think it's healthy to go up there frequently.

Ruined but imposing castle. Wonderful view of the gulf of Castellammare from Terrasini to San Vito lo Capo. Pilgrimage site for the nearby Marian shrine.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Si trova sulla sommità del colle, immerso nella natura ed in compagnia di altissime antenne di telecomunicazioni. È stata molto piacevole la passeggiata per raggiungerlo, anche se un pochino impegnativa a causa della forte pendenza. La stretta stradina in pietre e cemento può essere tuttavia percorsa anche in auto. Il panorama è stupendo.
It is located on the top of the hill, surrounded by nature and in the company of very high telecommunications antennas. The walk to reach it was very pleasant, even if a bit challenging due to the steep slope. However, the narrow stone and concrete road can also be traveled by car. The view is gorgeous.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bellissima l'ultima torre rimasta in piedi dell'antico castello edificato sul monte Bonifato. Con l'ottima veduta su tutto il golfo di Castellammare.
The last remaining tower of the ancient castle built on Mount Bonifato is beautiful. With an excellent view over the entire Gulf of Castellammare.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Incredibile come nell'arco di pochi decenni possa cambiare la sensibilità delle persone verso la storia e le cose del passato. Ai giorni nostri non penso che qualcuno consentirebbe di montare antenne così tanto invasive all'interno di quella che è una grande area archeologica del passato. Addirittura una delle antenne sembra avere il basamento di una antica torre come appoggio. Facile da raggiungere in macchina, panorama a 360 gradi
Incredible how in the space of a few decades people's sensitivity to history and things of the past can change. Nowadays I don't think anyone would allow such invasive antennas to be mounted inside what is a great archaeological area of the past. Even one of the antennas seems to have the base of an ancient tower as a support. Easy to reach by car, 360 degree panorama
