Il prete a passare ci ha guardato e non ci ha neanche benedetto.
Si salva solo per gli affreschi spettacolari e le statue magnifiche.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Probabilmente uno dei più bei monumenti se non il più bel monumento che si può trovare in una visita ad Alcamo. La prima cosa che rimbalza all'occhio è l'interno dov'è il color bianco e il rosa del granito ben si commistionano. La chiesa è di medio-grandi dimensioni è piena di cellette che contengono bei quadri tardo cinquecenteschi e seicenteschi.
Probably one of the most beautiful monuments if not the most beautiful monument that can be found in a visit to Alcamo. The first thing that strikes the eye is the interior where the white and pink of the granite mix well. The church is of medium-large size and is full of small cells that contain beautiful late sixteenth and seventeenth-century paintings.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Basilica dalla storia travagliata che conserva opere prestigiose e un interessante museo. Da ammirare le colonne di marmo rosso di Alcamo, ormai introvabile, gli affreschi del Borremans e il rarissimo crocifisso in materiale composito.
