di Antonello Gagini e considerata tra le opere più belle dell’artista; l’Annunciazione, gruppo marmoreo scolpito nel 1545 da Antonino e Giacomo Gagini; le sculture in marmo di scuola gaginesca raffiguranti San Luca e Sant’Angelo; la statua di Sant’Eligio in marmo bianco scolpita da Filippo Pennino nel 1767; due acquasantiere ai lati dell’entrata, opera di Mariano Pennino; la statua di San Giuseppe con il bambino, attribuita a Filippo Quattrocchi a metà dell’ottocento.
In the church there are works of considerable importance such as the statue of St. Oliva to whom the Church is dedicated (a virgin and martyr from Palermo who received the crown of martyrdom on 10 June 463)
by Antonello Gagini and considered among the artist's most beautiful works; the Annunciation, a marble group sculpted in 1545 by Antonino and Giacomo Gagini; the marble sculptures of the Gaginesque school depicting St. Luke and St. Angel; the statue of Sant’Eligio in white marble sculpted by Filippo Pennino in 1767; two fonts on the sides of the entrance, by Mariano Pennino; the statue of St. Joseph with the child, attributed to Filippo Quattrocchi in the mid-nineteenth century.
