A	Antonio Stincheddu on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Il posto è molto bello, ma molto abbandonato. Un vero peccato. Tutto sommato pulito, con poche i nussun "residuo del passaggio umano". Fruibile 24h su 24, almeno così pare. Presente una grande zona barbecue con tavoli e postazioni fuochi, ma tutto sembra lasciato all abbandono. La strada che dal paese arriva al centro del parco vale da sola la visita. Sale sale sale! Come stare sulle nuvole! Bellissima sensazione. Noi ci siamo fermati al centro del parco, pensiamo chiuso da un po'. Un cartello avvertiva del cancello nella strada che porta alla sommità del monte. Poi, a piedi, abbiamo visto diverse auto e motosalire e scendere. Evidentemente non viene chiuso. La zona del parco avventura, area arrampicata in sicurezza sugli alberi sembra chiusa e abbandonata. L'aria è un pelo più fresca e meno afosa del resto del territorio. In questi giorni di super caldo non è male! 4 stelle per generale abbandono e per poca o nessuna segnetica dei percorsi che ci sono nel parco e che comunque sono ben puliti, altrimenti il posto varrebbe 6 stelle The place is very beautiful, but very abandoned. Such a pity. All in all clean, with few "residues of human passage". Available 24 hours a day, at least so it seems. There is a large barbecue area with tables and fire stations, but everything seems to be left in abandonment. The road from the town to the center of the park alone is worth the visit. Salt, salt, salt! Like being on the clouds! Great feeling. We stopped in the middle of the park, we think it has been closed for a while. A sign warned of the gate in the road leading to the top of the mountain. Then, on foot, we saw several cars and motorcycles going up and down. Evidently it is not closed. The area of the adventure park, a safe tree climbing area, seems closed and abandoned. The air is a bit cooler and less sultry than the rest of the territory. In these super hot days it's not bad! 4 stars for general abandonment and for little or no signs of the paths that are in the park and which are in any case well cleaned, otherwise the place would be worth 6 stars
N	Nino Difranco on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Il monte Bonifato soprasta la cittadina di Alcamo..... il suo bel bosco è molto curato e i suoi sentieri sono di varie difficoltà e quindi per tutti...stupendi i vari panorami che si godono...unico neo i tralicci con tutti gli apparati per la telecomunicazioni che rovinano la cima del monte e si insinuano tra le rovine del castello normanno..... The mountain Bonifato above the town of Alcamo ..... its beautiful wood is very nice and its paths are of various difficulties and therefore for all ... wonderful the various panoramas that are enjoyed ... unique neo the pylons with all the telecommunication devices that ruin the top of the mountain and wind through the ruins of the Norman castle .....

p	piero mancuso on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Il monte bonifato che sovrasta la città di Alcamo è la sede di una bellissima riserva naturale che nel corso degli anni è stata riqualificata da parte del comune. Ci sono molte attività ed eventi che nel corso dell'anno vengono proposti ai visitatori ed ai turisti come il nuovo parco avventura adatto a tutte le età e l'osservatorio stellare aperto su richiesta. La riserva è un luogo ricco di storia dove sono stati scoperti una necropoli protostorica e tracce di un antico insediamento. Salendo verso la vetta, sono visibili i resti di un'ampia cisterna (detta Funtanazza) e di una porta (detta Porta della Regina), che fa supporre l'esistenza di una cinta muraria. Sulla sommità sono inoltre presenti i resti di un castello a quattro torri fatto edificare alla fine del XIV secolo dalla famiglia dei Ventimiglia, feudatari, per un certo tempo, anche del territorio di Alcamo. The Bonifato mountain that overlooks the city of Alcamo is the seat of a beautiful nature reserve that over the years has been redeveloped by the municipality. There are many activities and events that are offered to visitors and tourists during the year, such as the new adventure park suitable for all ages and the stellar observatory open upon request. The reserve is a place rich in history where a proto-historic necropolis and traces of an ancient settlement were discovered. Going up towards the summit, the remains of a large cistern (called Funtanazza) and a door (called Porta della Regina) can be seen, which suggests the existence of a wall. On the top there are also the remains of a four-tower castle built at the end of the 14th century by the Ventimiglia family, feudal lords, for a time, also from the territory of Alcamo.

I sentieri sono poco curati come le staccionate di legno, le indicazioni poche e rovinate, alcune inesistenti; la chiesa è circondata da antenne. The place isn't bad; the wood hosts a picnic area (outing). The paths are poorly maintained such as the wooden fences, the few and ruined signs, some non-existent; the church is surrounded by antennas.

W	Wonder S on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Nature Reserve Bosco di Alcamo is a natural protected area of Regione Siciliana established in 1984,and located on the top of monte Bonifato, which dominates the town of Alcamo. I suggest you to explore it if you have the opportunity, very simple paths , also recommended for families and children. Visited in August with my kids.
