a	andrea on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Splendido! Ho suonato ad un battesimo. Tutti i lavoratori e gli organizzatori sono stati gentilissimi. Il pranzo buonissimo preparato dal catering che gestisce lo spazio. Veramente una esperienza molto positiva Gorgeous! I played at a baptism. All the workers and organizers were very kind. The delicious lunch prepared by the catering that manages the space. Truly a very positive experience

È aperto per eventi particolari e visitabile su prenotazione, molto brave e preparate le guide che in circa un'ora portano i visitatori dentro il castello e anche nella chiesa adiacente. Il castello è in parte restaurato ed una sua ala è adibita ad uso comunale. Particular Visconti castle with a trapezoidal plan in the village of Pumenengo in the lower eastern Bergamo area, also suggestive for the moat around it and a canal that runs on two sides. It is open for special events and can be visited by appointment, the guides are very good and prepared and in about an hour take visitors inside the castle and also in the adjacent church. The castle is partly restored and one of its wings is used for municipal use.

Persone all'accoglienza molto gentili e giovani guide molto preparate. The castle would need a lot of work especially the internal part. Still worth a visit. Outside part kept quite well. Very kind welcome people and very prepared young guides.

Questo ha reso la mia visita al castello un momento speciale. ? Il castello Barbó é un edificio affascinante, immerso nelle campagne, a due passi dal fiume Oglio. Costeggia un canale dove si può pescare e ammirare un mulino in ferro e le sue chiuse. Entrando dalla torre principale si accede alla corte interna: una parte é stata restaurata alla perfezione, con i muri di ciottoli a spina di pesce; un'altra parte, con vetrate a specchio, é un po' infelice. ? Il castello ha il suo ?: pare che una volta l'anno da un pozzo si senta il pianto di una bambina. ? Se venite da Bergamo evitate Rudiano e le sue rotonde. Ho ruotato su me stessa per una buona mezz'ora senza andare da nessuna parte. Con la nebbia si rischia di finire sulla Brebemi senza volerlo...??️ Nelle vicinanze: castello di Soncino e torre Pallavicina. Tantissime piste ciclabili ? Foto febb. 2021 Pumenengo is the land of kindness. ? I met four people and they all wished me good morning, even though it was a gloomy day. This made my visit to the castle a special moment. ? The Barbó castle is a fascinating building, immersed in the countryside, a stone's throw from the Oglio river. It skirts a canal where you can fish and admire an iron mill and its locks. Entering the main tower leads to the internal courtyard: a part has been perfectly restored, with herringbone pebble walls; another part, with mirrored windows, is a bit unhappy. ? The castle has its own ?: it seems that once a year from a well you hear the cry of a little girl. ? If you come from Bergamo, avoid Rudiano and its roundabouts. I was spinning for a good half hour without going anywhere. With the fog you risk ending up on the Brebemi without meaning to ... ??️ Nearby: Soncino castle and Pallavicina tower. R	Ruggero Frusca on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Questo castelletto dalla insolita pianta trapezoidale affonda le sue origini nel medioevo, quando per il controllo dei fiume Oglio poco distante, sorsero su entrambe le sponde delle fortificazioni militari. Esternamente si presenta con forme integre, mentre l"interno è stato ampiamente rimaneggiato nel corso dei secoli. Attuale residenza municipale è solo parzialmente visitabile, in particolare le stanze nobili dove risiedette la famiglia Barbò. Se di passaggio merita una sosta.
D	Diego Bonacina on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nonostante l’iconica cabina telefonica questo castello non si trova in Gran Bretagna, ma a Pumenengo (in provincia di Bergamo). Questa fortezza merita senza dubbio una visita: la sola vista esterna vale la fatica del viaggio. La maestosità dell’ingresso è forse l’aspetto più gradevole dell’intero edificio che oggi è -tra le altre cose- sede del Comune. Degne di nota sono la sala consiliare e l’ufficio del Sindaco: due stanze davvero splendide che stupiscono chi guarda. In particolare, della sala consiliare, le decorazioni sono spettacolari: il soffitto con la finta cupola (egregio esempio di trompe-l'oeil) è davvero ipnotico. In due parole: super consigliato! Despite the iconic telephone booth, this castle is not located in Great Britain, but in Pumenengo (in the province of Bergamo). This fortress is undoubtedly worth a visit: the external view alone is worth the effort of the journey. The majesty of the entrance is perhaps the most pleasant aspect of the entire building which today is - among other things - the seat of the Municipality. Worthy of note are the council chamber and the Mayor's office: two truly splendid rooms that amaze the beholder. In particular, in the council chamber, the decorations are spectacular: the ceiling with the fake dome (an excellent example of trompe-l'oeil) is truly hypnotic. In two words: super recommended!
