★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dopo la variante apportata alla strada di collegamento tra Rudiano e Pumenengo con ponte sull'Oglio, il Santuario beneficia ora di una maggior preservazione dal traffico e dal caos, ed infatti la tranquillità e la serenità del luogo sono ora invidiabili, e anzi sembra un luogo ancor più spirituale e di ritrovo, di meditazione, immerso nel verde dei terreni adiacenti al fiume. Benché la struttura non risulti particolarmente elaborata (ha subito un restauro piuttosto recente) sono presenti alcuni spunti artistici interessanti, come l'altare finemente decorato (con semicupola dell'abside affrescata meravigliosamente), alcuni altri dipinti/affreschi e un bassorilievo posto sopra l'ingresso sulla controfacciata, davvero molto bello. Un luogo di pace e meditazione comunque davvero significativo, accogliente, sacro, di riferimento.
After the variation made to the road linking Rudiano and Pumenengo with the bridge over the Oglio, the Sanctuary now benefits from a greater preservation from traffic and chaos, and in fact the tranquility and serenity of the place are now enviable, and indeed it seems a place even more spiritual and meeting place, of meditation, immersed in the greenery of the lands adjacent to the river. Although the structure is not particularly elaborate (it has undergone a fairly recent restoration) there are some interesting artistic ideas, such as the finely decorated altar (with a wonderfully frescoed apse of the apse), some other paintings / frescoes and a bas-relief placed above the entrance on the counter-façade, very beautiful indeed. A place of peace and meditation, however, truly significant, welcoming, sacred, of reference.
