E' poco conosciuta ed è un vero peccato perché conserva svariati affreschi tardo gotici attribuiti a buoni artisti novaresi come il Cagnola ed il Bartulonus oltre ad una statua seicentesca della Madonna oggetto del culto dei fedeli. Va poi ricordato che l'edificio attuale (di fine 1400) sorge dove esisteva una chiesa ancora più antica, romanica, della quale ha conservato l'orientamento classico est-ovest.
