★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sono andata l'anno scorso apposta a visitare questo castello. Quanto pare è proprietà privata e non si possa visitare. Non c'e nessuna informazione al riguardo. Oppure mi è sfuggita. Peccato perché da fuori è carino e ben conservato.
I went last year on purpose to visit this castle. Apparently it is private property and cannot be visited. There is no information about it. Or I missed it. Too bad because from the outside it is nice and well preserved.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Leider nicht zu besichtigen, aber eine tolle Anlage aus dem 13. Jahrhundert. Bis zum Schlosstor über eine kleine Fahrstraße zu erreichen.
Unfortunately not open to the public, but a great facility from the 13th century. To reach the castle gate via a small road.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bel castello medievale, risalente al 1217, che si trova nelle vicinanze del piccolo borgo di Plaus.
Costruito dai nobili Von Tarant, vassalli dei Conti di Tirolo, è passato di proprietà diverse volte, fino ad essere acquistato nel 1964 da una famiglia bavarese che li ha restaurato con cura ( il castello è in ottime condizioni).
Si può vedere dall'esterno percorrendo il "Ritterweg", sentiero che gli passa vicino.
Il castello è privato e, attualmente, non è assolutamente visitabile.
Beautiful medieval castle, dating back to 1217, which is located near the small village of Plaus.
Built by the nobles Von Tarant, vassals of the Counts of Tyrol, it passed ownership several times, until it was purchased in 1964 by a Bavarian family who restored it with care (the castle is in excellent condition).
It can be seen from the outside along the "Ritterweg", a path that passes nearby.
The castle is private and currently cannot be visited at all.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In effetti il Castello è molto bello, per quello che si può vedere da fuori.
Essendo privato non si può visitare. Capisco che è una scelta dei proprietari, ma costoro dovrebbero rendersi conto di possedere un "qualcosa" di storico e di interesse per tutta la Comunità. Potrebbero aprire al pubblico alcuni giorni all'anno (come fanno altri Castelli privati), ovviamente lasciando chiuse le sezioni private.
In fact, the Castle is very beautiful, from what you can see from the outside.
As it is private, it cannot be visited. I understand that it is a choice of the owners, but they should realize that they have "something" of historical interest and of interest to the whole community. They could open to the public a few days a year (as do other private castles), obviously leaving the private sections closed.
