Casa de 'Coronari - Boutique Hotel

Great! I picked it because it VERY central... but I ended up really liking this place... the building is an historical one but, is in perfect condition, I personally loved the way it was restructured... The service was on point! In the morning with a call you could get breakfast up to your room, which has everything you could ever need in a home but is not something you expect from a b&b, which I liked a lot... The rooms have tv also with english channels, the shower and as well the bathroom were very nice, the owners of the structure were very kind and sweet, and all the way professional... anyway sure will return if again in town.

Exceptional. Extremely friendly patrons and wonderful service overall. They are to provide information and recommendations. Rooms are comfortable and very modern while tipping their hat to Rome's heritage in the hallways and stairwells. Nespresso machines and minibars are wonderful amenities. Quiet and offering and wonderful location. Will stay again!

We came across this place by accident; a friend who owns a restaurant booked it for our stay in Roma for 3 days....what a pleasant surprise! Right from the moment we walked in, Patrizia and Benjamin took care of everything we could have possibly needed. From recommendations to reservations to directions...they even sent their staff by bicycle to fetch bananas and cornetti when we asked for them at breakfast! The service is impeccable and attentive. These 2 really make you feel like family! Amazing location, amazing suites. We loved everything about our stay and will certainly come back!!! Highly recommend!

Can’t say enough great things about this little gem of a hotel. The owner was absolutely amazing and extremely helpful. The room was beyond clean with an amazing view. The breakfast was fabulous and on point! Thank you so much for making our Rome vacation feel like home!

DO NOT STAY HERE! Please read. We woke up in the morning to find a leak had come through the ceiling. There was a huge puddle of water next to the bed which had soaked my bag and all of my belongings inside the bag. After calling reception, Patrizia came to the room. She took one look at the leak and said that it was because we left the tap on. Firstly that made no sense at all as this was coming through the ceiling and we certainly did not leave the tap on. Her husband came into check the leak and confirmed it was coming from upstairs. Patrizia did not apologise at all for the accusation she made about us leaving the tap on. I then told her my bag was damaged and she rudely shouted “it’s not my fault, what do you want me to do” We then went out for the day and when we returned to the hotel, Patrizias husband forced his way into our room. My friend and I were two girls that were staying at this hotel. We found this very uncomfortable as he would not leave. He was shouting and screaming in my friends face. At one point I thought he was going to hit her because he was being aggressive and was stood so close, waving his arms around, pointing at her face as he was shouting. Patrizia then walked in and stated our card was not valid. She demanded we go downstairs and pay immediately. This is a lie because when I went downstairs to make the payment, the card worked fine with no issues (I used the same card used at the time i made the reservation). The husband said he was going to call the police which made no sense as we did not refuse to pay. When booking, the confirmation email states that guests pay when checking out. We still had another night left when they threatened and forced us to make a payment. All we said was that we would like a refund for one night as a gesture of goodwill for the inconvenience caused and they threatened us. When I told them my bag had been ruined, they didn’t care. They had been though my stuff in the room when I was out. The bag was not branded and was from a high street store, they told me they knew where it was from and mentioned the shop name. This hotel and the way we were treated by Patrizia and her husband was horrifying. I can not recommend this place.

What can I say!?? I went with a friend and we had a very interesting stay. Save for the location, the staff was abysmal. There was an issue with a leak from the room above. Not only were we accused of causing said leak but also accused of not wanting to pay for the hotel!!! Despite the hotel retaining our card details. The owner and partner were nothing short of aggressive when a resolution was sought. I travel quite a bit and have never experienced such absurd behaviour. Rather than apologising for the inconvenience cause, it was met with accusations and hostility. The STAFF make the holiday. If they could not provide a GOOD level of service then clearly they are in the wrong trade.

This was an amazing location and we felt very welcomed and cared for by Patrizia, Benjamin, and the staff. This boutique hotel was extremely clean and we would gladly stay here again. If you want to see the sights and eat in Rome like you always pictured you would, stay at the Casa De Coronari.

Amazing location and cozy rooms! The location was exceptional (CENTRAL AND WALKING DISTANCE FROM EVERY MAJOR SIGHT!), and the rooms were cozy. Everyone was extremely friendly and the breakfast was wonderful. Do not hesitate to book!
