★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A very quiet place to stay in Venice, that nowadays is very crowded. The garden is wonderful.
Simple breakfast, but enough for me.
They have a curfew, it means that from 12:00 to 6:00 in the night you must be inside and it is not possible to get out. That was not a problem for us, but it could be annoying for somebody.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Indeed...this is not a hotel, but rather a religious guest house. But this should not come as a surprise, because they do make this quite clear, along with the rules one must follow, such as having to be in by midnight.
Is it for everyone? No, but, as a single traveller on a budget, I was fine with it.
It's simple... Read the rules, and if you don't think it's right for you, stay somewhere else.
I am non-religious myself, but nobody pushed anything religious on me.
The place was very clean. Room 25 (a single with an ensuite bathroom) had plenty of space for luggage. The shower was decent - no issues with water pressure either.
The price was right at 38 euros for the night, including a basic breakfast.
They do have a common room on the 1st floor with a fridge, microwave, and vending machines. The coffee machine in this room makes a pretty good hot chocolate if you choose the strong setting - just watch out because it adds sugar unless you say otherwise.
Overall, a good place to stay if you are staying on a budget and can live with a few rules and be respectful. Otherwise, you may wish to look for something else.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very convenient location near piazzale Rome and St. Lucia railway station. Central but quiet, friendly people, nuns live in the same building. Not a place for parties. I had a problem with A/C during the first night and the bed was not really comfortable. But the room and common areas were sparkling clean. Good value for what I’ve paid.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A short walk from the bus terminal station where the bus coming from the airport stops. Very clean and tidy, nice chapel inside and more than decent breakfast included, where gentle noons work in the kitchen . Plus they hold your luggage for the day if needed. Rooms seems fitted to elderly. Would definitely come back

Free WiFi. Very simple and cozy. Quiet and peaceful stay. Friendly staff. Beautiful garden. Not far from the station so you can get anywhere you want to go easily. The stay is pleasant enough for people who are on a hotel budget!
CONS:
No safe, TV, or fridge. Beds make noises. Shower drain kinda clogs. Curfew @ midnight and doors open @ 6am. If you want to stay later/leave earlier, you must give them a notice and pay €20. And the canal beside our room smells disgusting.

Interior is quite simple, yet functional and not tacky, breakfast was very nice and the location is brilliant.
Garden at the back, however small, still looks gorgeous, but I didn't had time to pop in there on my first visit in May 2016
