The Carabinieri for the Protection of Archaeological Heritage, offer an excellent service, working in coordination with the Ministry of Cultural Heritage. The department is equipped with the most modern computer equipment, but above all with a staff of undoubted quality and professionalism, from an investigative and operational point of view. The CTP is made up of 400 men, who quietly work at the service of the community and citizens, and it is precisely those who would need them most in order to be able to operate better. Sometimes we are aware of facts concerning stolen works or works of undoubted origin, but out of laziness or an unhealthy selfishness, or thinking of being seen as informers or spies who make their own minds, contrary to a simple report, could contribute to the discovery of stolen or stolen archaeological works. At the Heritage Protection Command, you will also find courtesy and a spirit of service, which has always honored the Carabinieri. Thank you all !

It is not a place open to the public and I add unfortunately, because the seat, housed in a wonderful building, is also a mini museum in which the works recovered by this operative nucleus of Carabinieri are temporarily preserved. .
