★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Didn't feel welcome at all. We were five guys, saw this place a couple of times while passing through, looked really good but we had a really bad experience when going on.
We asked if we could sit outside, they didn't like that. Started doing some jokes about that. We left out of fear that they woukd spit in our food.
I mean if sitting outside wasn't an option they could have just told us that. Isn't like this on all restaurants at Rome, this has been the first time and hopefully last one.
Please be more welcoming with foreginers. We didn't disrespect anyone.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the worst places in Rome. Expensive and low quality. If you ask for a menu they say that they don't have it, instead they just have a list of wines on the wall, without marking the price of them! At the end they'll make the price that they want!
They even ask if you want some chips, they do not bring them directly! Absolutely to avoid!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice neighborhood wine bar, attentive and fun staff who gave us a sample of wine we were not sure off. Cozy atmosphere. Very friendly to foreigners who speak very limited Italian. Staff spoke English as well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the rare occasions i ended up in a place without planning and reviewing online first. But Cantina Ripagrande didn't disappoint! More than that, it was a really lovely place with a great service. It might not be at the nicest part of Trastevere, but surely you get one of the nicest guys to serve you, and also great food. This time we went for appetizers and some dolci only, but all of them were great. I will come back here to taste more of their courses for sure.
