Committenti della costruzione quattro-cinquecentesca furono i Parisetti; al 1525 si fa risalire la ricostruzione della facciata principale col suo avanzamento sulla strada per proseguire la continuità prospettica col limitrofo palazzo Brami, posto in angolo sulla via Emilia. Nel 1903, il marchese Rocca Saporiti fece restaurare la magione incaricando Edoardo Collamarini, architetto di Bologna e già suo progettista di fiducia, e alla riapertura volle dedicare il palazzo allo scandianese Matteo Maria Boiardo: iniziativa che generò l’erroneo convincimento popolare che il poeta ne fosse stato proprietario.
 It is located in via Boiardi which connects perpendicularly via Toschi to Emilia S. Pietro. The Parisetti were commissioned by the fifteenth-sixteenth century construction; the reconstruction of the main façade can be traced back to 1525 with its advancement on the road to continue the perspective continuity with the neighboring Palazzo Brami, located in a corner on Via Emilia. In 1903, the Marquis Rocca Saporiti had the mansion restored by commissioning Edoardo Collamarini, an architect from Bologna and already his trusted designer, and at the reopening he wanted to dedicate the palace to Matteo Maria Boiardo from Scandiano: an initiative that generated the erroneous popular belief that the poet had been owner.
