Best Vegan restaurant in Italia

S	Sarrah Ali on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Average food- with a lot of potential- in a beautifully decorated interior. Let me be clear, the individual items are excellent and show that the entire restaurant is a work of love: the pasta, the sauce, the ingredients used. Together? There is some discord. The ravioli pasta will be delicate, but the filling will be disappointing in it's plain-ness. What a great idea to have a macadamia filling, but let it be carried with garlic and onions or leeks and herbs not the bitterness of asparagus. The gnocchi is pillowy perfect, but the sauce will take away from the greatness of the pasta with it's tamed flavor. Gnocchi would have been excellent if paired with some truffles or any other mushroom, nutritional yeast, or perhaps more herbs such as thyme. I am not a vegan, but eat mostly vegetarian wherever I go. I have hope for this place!

The pastas offer a good variety of options, all with creative and tasty combinations of flavors. The ingredients are clearly of great quality and super fresh. The drinks are mainly organic and super refreshing perfect for hot summer days. Despite arriving at the restaurant outside traditional lunch hour the service was quite quick and extra friendly. Only negative side was for me the dessert. In itself it was really tasty and summery, just now what you would expect for a cheesecake. I’ll gladly go back to taste the other items in the menu. A really good restaurant that happens to be vegan.

Whatever you order here, it is all incredible delicious. Don't miss to have one of their cashew based cheesecakes for desert.

L	Lino Scala (Urban backyard worm farm) on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A vegan oasis, everywhere I went in Bologna plant based offerings were scarce to non existent at Botanica Lab I found amazing food and super friendly staff. I went there for a late lunch, waIted 10 minutes for a tablet, seemed like most of the patrons were repeat customers, wait staff very attentive and helpfull I settled for the gnocchetti in anacardi cream sauce ver fulfilling and very delicate, finished my meal with espresso and dolce millefoglie with strawberry and cream. I loved everything and will be back

Furthermore, it was affordable, not touristy, incredibly quaint and relaxing. Staff are also lovely and made me feel right at home.
