★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pizza is really good here, napolitan's style. The great view is anyway the best point of this place. There are both a rooftop place, open, with a panoramic view on the beach, and an inner room downstairs on the beach itself, along with a bar.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is one of many options to rent some chairs and umbrellas on the nice beach of Sperlonga (west of the Torre Truglia).
Like I said, options in this lovely beach town are plenty. The reason we chose this one is simple: They had the nicest chairs and best umbrellas (really blocking the sun) on the beach. But this also comes at a price: a hefty 30 Euros for two chairs and one umbrella.
But besides that we had a nice time here on the beach. The beach is clean and the noise level surprisingly low. Beer was quite cheap and cold... and you will need a bunch if you visit in summer. Getting pretty hot here.
The spots on the beach sell out pretty fast....but if you're in town a bit longer you also can reserve a spot for the next day. Staff was nice and helpful.
So, all in all a nice place. But later on in Calabria (Nicotera Marina) we found an equally nice beach...almost empty. With two chairs and an umbrella for 8 Euros. But if you can't go that far south, then this here is a good option.
