β β β β β Γ stata una giornata pessima dovuto al trasporto pubblico di Roma e insieme al traffico che cβera sono arrivato in ritardo alla stazione e ovviamente avevo perso il treno. Ho provato di scambiarlo ma avevo anche trovato problemi sul sito per realizzare questo cambio e poi tutti i treni quel giorno mi faceva capire che erano giΓ pieni. Alla fine riprovando tantissime volte sono riuscito a trovare posto e dopo lβacquisto mi sono reso conto che era per un altro giorno. Non ci credevo, non avevo cambiato nulla ma ora avevo pagato due biglietti che non potevo usare (uno perchΓ© stava per partire in 20 min e non cβΓ¨ la facevo ad arrivare in tempo e altro che era per la settimana successiva..).
Non sapevo piΓΉ cosa fare allora sono andato in biglietteria di Italo e la mi hanno risolto tutto in pochi minuti. Mi hanno trovato lβultimo e unico posto sul treno successivo Γ¨ sono uscito dalla biglietteria molto piΓΉ tranquillo. Γ vero che ho pagato un suplemento due volte per questi cambi, ma sono stato in grado di ritornare a casa in poche ore, e questa Γ¨ la parte piΓΉ importante.

 It was a bad day due to public transport in Rome and along with the traffic that was there I arrived late at the station and obviously I had missed the train. I tried to swap it but I also found problems on the site to make this change and then all the trains that day made me understand that they were already full. In the end, trying again many times, I managed to find a place and after the purchase I realized it was for another day. I didn't believe it, I hadn't changed anything but now I had paid for two tickets that I couldn't use (one because it was about to leave in 20 minutes and I couldn't arrive on time and the other was for the following week ..).
I didn't know what to do anymore so I went to Italo's ticket office and they solved everything in a few minutes. They found me the last and only seat on the next train and I left the ticket office much quieter. It is true that I paid extra twice for these changes, but I was able to get home in a few hours, and that is the most important part.

β β β β β I went and asked to sit in a chair with my wife and 9 months old son in the Rome lounge. The woman worked at the reception at 15.30 (30/06/2017) told me I don't have club membership so I can't stay. It's 35 degrees in Rome station. No AC and my infant son was sweating hot. We lucky that there were McDonald's cross the road ....what a awful people ?

β β β β β Tldr: the company will make everything possible not to refund your ticket.
I paid for a fast train going from Naples to Rome in about an hour.the tickets we sold at twice the price of the regular 2 hour train.
The train was not only late leaving the platform but there was a malfunction with the fast track and it went slower, arriving almost an hour late. The company's contract states that only a 60 minute delay is refundable (a 25% refund...) so my train delyed 55 minutes and I'm not eligible for a refund, I tried to talk to the manager at Rome Termini station but no help.
There is zero customer service, only rules and. contracts. And of course I knew they would do anything not to be a moment after 59 minutes not to refund anyone.

β β β β β Europe is famous for its super-fast rails and how we can skip this in our 17 days journey. We had booked Italo train for most of the legs of our trip. Sometimes I got a really good deal, sometimes it was expensive. But for the trip, it never disappointed me. It started on time, reached the destination on time. Either it was Prime, smart or Comfort class, seating was comfortable. Especially, Rome to Naples journey was very smooth. Top speed was 300km/h. I even clicked the photo of its dashboard.
They have Wi-Fi onboard (unlimited for deluxe coach). Designated space for keeping your 28-30 inch luggage. The restroom was super clean. In Prima & Club, you can buy (or pre-order) an Eataly lunchbox for around β¬16-β¬19. Complimentary coffee, soft drinks, wine, or prosecco is served from a trolley. There's no bar or restaurant car, but passengers can use the coffee machine and vending machine. You're free to bring your food & drink onboard...
Italo is a private company that started operating Italo high-speed trains on the Milan-Florence-Rome-Naples route in the beginning.
