★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The staff change. We came one Monday when it was quiet and the man working behind the bar was absolutely lovely. So knowledgeable about the drinks selection and provided a nice little mortadella sandwich for us to taste - for free! The drinks were good too! We came back on a Saturday and staff had changed and not as forthcoming but still knowledgable about drinks! Would recommend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place, cosy little restaurant, the people in charge were charming, welcoming with a big smile and speaking good English and even Spanish. We try a cold meat plate for two and a glass of the house red wine, both very good, In the middle of the plate they brought a cheese I have never try before made with the first milk of the cow, creamy, delicious and full of good bateria to help digest the feast. We seat outside, it was cozy, a few tables very close. The only issue is if a smoker seats next to you (as an ex smoker I know dislike the smell more than anyone) it is allowed to smoke in patios and terraces in Italy. I saw other plates for the other tables and looked very tasty.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great food got taught some etiquette about pairing food and coffee. I learned easier to ask if they speak Spanish then English yes one speaks fluent Spanish. Been here a few times. Great tip ask for fried bread with Mortadella its a local specialty now gotta walk it off

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Honestly speaking i went there because of the live music with the 2 sirs that were palying NON STOP.
the ambience is amazing.
Also the fried bread with Parma ham is simple and delicious, only 6 euros.
Selection of wine is freat however little bit pricey for a simple restaurant and bologna standards (up to 8 euros per glass).
Still, totally worth a visit if live music is going on.

Easy drinks & apero for fair prices. Always nice to come back. Friendly staff and good quality. Sometimes you need to wait for a place - but grab a drink and wait for a free seat. Stay as you are! See you soon.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is a must visit for anyone visiting Bologna. At first glance the restaurant might not look like much, but they serve some of the best crude hams, cheese and melon platters in the city. Personally some of the best I have ever tasted anywhere. The staff are very friendly, helpful, and speak for the most part good English. A highly recommended restaurant!
