★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Posta nei pressi di una piccola piazza (Piazza Vittoria), questa cattedrale di piccole-medie dimensioni si presenta molto ben curata esternamente rispecchiando lo stile di costruzione del borgo di Castro.
Castro non è solo mare, scogliera e passeggiate lungomare, ma all'interno del borgo è possibile scoprire queste bellezze. Assolutamente da visitare. Molto particolare è la torre dell'orologio ancora funzionante.
Non vista internamente in quanto chiusa (h 15:00 circa) ma credo ne valga la pena visitarla anche internamente.
Located near a small square (Piazza Vittoria), this small-medium sized cathedral is very well maintained externally reflecting the construction style of the village of Castro.
Castro is not just sea, cliff and seafront promenades, but inside the village it is possible to discover these beauties. Absolutely to visit. The clock tower is still very functional.
Not seen internally as it is closed (around 3:00 pm) but I think it is worth visiting also internally.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Qui troviamo i resti di una chiesa di età bizantina, sue pareti rimangono tracce di affreschi riconducibili ad almeno tre distinti cicli decorativi. Nel 18esimo secolo la struttura fu murata e utilizzata come cimitero.
Here we find the remains of a Byzantine church, its walls remain traces of frescoes attributable to at least three distinct decorative cycles. In the 18th century the structure was walled up and used as a cemetery.
