★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Una breve passeggiata che gira intorno alla parte alta di Castro e al suo castello. Si parte dal belvedere di Castro, per poi tornare praticamente nella stessa piazza. Il vialetto è pulito e ben tenuto, senza particolari difficoltà, a parte poche scale in alcuni punti. Belli alcuni scorci sul mare. Lungo il percorso si incontrano anche i resti delle mura messapiche.
 A short walk around the upper part of Castro and its castle. It starts from the lookout point of Castro, to then return practically in the same square. The driveway is clean and well maintained, with no particular difficulties, except for a few stairs in some places. Some beautiful views of the sea. Along the way you will also find the remains of the Messapian walls.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Le mura intorno al Castello Aragonese con panorami suggestivi, un’esperienza tra gli uliveti e l'antica Castro con la Cattedrale, il Vescovado, un posto un po isolato ma molto emozionale silenzioso e con una vista meravigliosa. Le mura messapiche di Castro sono visibili attorno alla parte più alta del borgo, e una passeggiata su queste mura offre ai turisti la possibilità di gustarsi dei panorami incantevoli, che vanno dal mare adriatico che si trova di fronte, alla campagna intorno al borgo. Le mura messapiche avevano una lunghezza totale di 700 metri e al loro interno si trovava il primo insediamento abitativo che si è poi trasformato nel borgo medievale.
The walls around the Aragonese Castle with suggestive panoramas, an experience between the olive groves and the ancient Castro with the Cathedral, the Bishopric, a somewhat isolated but very emotional silent place with a wonderful view. The Messapian walls of Castro are visible around the highest part of the village, and a walk on these walls offers tourists the opportunity to enjoy the enchanting panoramas, ranging from the Adriatic Sea which is opposite, to the countryside around the village. The Messapian walls had a total length of 700 meters and inside them there was the first housing settlement which then turned into the medieval village.
