★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Benché su Google sia indicato che il parco è chiuso, la cripta viene data come aperta, con tanto di fasce orarie! E invece è tutto chiuso! Al numero dedicato non risponde nessuno, all'ufficio turistico nemmeno! Da turista consigli di saltare in toto la visita ai siti del comune di Poggiardo!
Although Google indicates that the park is closed, the crypt is given as open, complete with time slots! But everything is closed! Nobody answers the dedicated number, not even the tourist office! As a tourist, you recommend skipping the visit to the sites of the municipality of Poggiardo in full!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The church is not the reason why you should visit this place. It is the occurrence of cave arcs and the replication of a messapian house beside the church and the cave. It is magic to experience that this place was inhabited by stone age men and by messapians before the romans invaded the Salento.

It's a real shame for the cultural heritage! The frescos are not secured, windows and glases broken, floor mossy, humidity all over!
