You can get checked-in without a queue if you visit in the weekday morning. The staff were very kind and we could communicate them in english, though not very fluent. You should bring your passports if you are foreigners.

Professional, Kind and attentive staff. An excellence center for the pediatric matters. The catholic origin makes everything human. The waiting rooms are colorful and there is also a small playground and a playroom for children

I put 1 star for the pediatrician who saw us in the night (on a bank holiday). He was this tipical man you can meet in the south : very manly, unpolite, arrogant and respiring agressivity...and you could easily feel that all the staff around him was not at ease at all... .When we got accepted he was mumbling he didn't understand why we were here and then lied about it in our faces...They then stung our baby two times in each arm, hand and foot but could not find a vein and when asking why they would absolutly want to do that even though she was not in fever nor bad shape anymore he anwser "we're bambino gesu here" very arrogantly...a simple it's the procedure for any kid here would have done the job but no...Just because I got angry did they finally stopped trying. Only the nurses levelled up a bit this awful reception (even though they were too a bit condescendent, but that's the emergencies...it's not easy)...I recommand this man to stop working in the emergencies. When you don't have anymore humanity and kindness like this man in these situations, you're useless. I'd rather face a computer instead... I put however 5 stars for the observation stage where the pediatrician (a woman) was very kind and would explain us what was going on and what they were doing, and was accepting our questions and doubts without being arrogant nor condescending (even though there was a room full of kids to treat). She is the kind of people a hospital needs because in the end things were much more efficient and fast with her than with this awfull man. The very strong culture of man full of testosteron in this region of Italy is not compatible with a hospital for children...

We were unfortunate to have to attend the emergency room after a quick visit to Rome. After a long 6hr wait in the discraceful Ostea Hospital, we drove across to Bambin Gesu and were seen within 5 minutes. The hospital was clean and the staff were caring and gentle. Luckily the paediatrician spoke fluent English and my daughter was x-rayed and bandaged up within 1 hr. These dr's and staff ought to be commended for their hard work and compassion.

Our son was born at 24 weeks and spent 10 weeks in another nicu in Rome. He was transferred to Bambino Gesù at 10 weeks old for a PDA closure. I cannot praise the nurses and doctors enough. They made sure our son was comfortable in his incubator with blankets and put his positioning first. They did every check you can think of within 1 day and provided us with real honest answers. They have notified us of problems our son has that we were unaware of at the previous hospital. The nurses and doctors are friendly and honest. The nicu is cleaned to a high standard and they are up to date on new technology. They comfort us in times we doubt our son will make it home alive and it's nice to hear that our sons situation is not so bad. For the first time in a while we go home and are able to sleep knowing our son is in fantastic hands. The surgeons for our sons ROP and heart met us personally and explained everything to us so we understood. I will update once our son comes home but the hospital is super. Really really friendly and super staff.

It is Better to get die at home instead of going to this dirty hospital. They will kill you by waiting 6 to 8 hrs.....

Three hours waiting outside, winter, 2 degrees, still waiting like all the other parents here. It doesn't matter what problems you might have, you don't leave babies outside that long. Shame on you guys
