★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This review is for Bacco in Revere by the water. Restaurant is really awful. Ordered a caprese salad with olives and a still mineral water - never got the water or the olives. Salad only had one basil leaf, which promptly blew away and was not replaced. Bread is hard and bland. Mozzarella is bland. Tomatoes are low / cheap grocery store quality with hard centers that are crunchy and bland. Waiters all wear ripped, saggy jeans - very unprofessional.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food is good. Complaints about portion sizes and service seem possible, since the meals at this place are small for the price, and the service is a bit preoccupied. Location seems to be the greatest strength here, since the patio is beautiful and exposed to the lively neighborhood. Very likely you can find a better experience elsewhere, but it isn’t terrible.
