β β β β β Awful experience. We arrived 2 hours late to check-in due to flight delay and had already paid for a 4 days rent online. Because we "didn't show", they wouldn't give us either our car or a reimboursment. The employees were very unpleasant and unpolite, unwilling to find any other solution than to let us lose what we paid.

β β β β β Please prefer another company to rent a car. They tell you that with "comfort" insurance you are covered about bodywork damage and then someone scratched (very small scratch) our car in a parking and we paid 100 euro because finally we are not covered for bodywork damage. Be careful, They try to get your money from anywhere

Dealing with B-Rent was (and I believe will remain) the most horrific experience I have had with a company! These people are just a bunch of thieves waiting to wreck your holiday!
We had a car booked 2 months in advance, for 8 days, everything including the insurance paid up front, about Β£450. We got there on the day 45 mins later than the booking, and had to stay behind the closed door for 15 mins until the guy came back and opened the door, then had to wait for the person ahead of us in the line to go through, by the time it was our turn it was 1 hour 15 mins after our booking start time. The person behind the desk (Raphael.P) took this as an excuse and said the company does not give car to the bookings after an hour from the rental time has started, and that we have lost our booking!!!
First of all an hour maximum delay was not mentioned anywhere on the car hire agreement nor on B-rent website. I have booked 100 cars with different suppliers so many of which I have showed up within an hour or two of the booking without a problem. So if this was even an issue with this specific car hire it had to be mentioned explicitly on the documents, not to mention we were in fact there less than an hour after the booking but it was their absence, lack of staff, and very slow dealing with customers that caused the extra delay.
Nonetheless we tried to resolve the issue with them and were happy to pay one extra day cost for this alleged delay. But first they said we should pay an extra β¬295 which was obviously unreasonable, then they said this is CarTrawler's issue (as we had booked through them) and we should talk to them. So I got on the phone and finally managed to talk to their customer service, they talked back and forth to B-rent a few times but to no avail! They then suggested me to open a case for a resolution which is now 2 months without a result.
Still after the phone call, we thought to give them the extra β¬295 they were asking for just to get the car, get to our hotel and start our holiday, but then they said the car is no more available and we have to make a whole new booking for a different car with their best offered price of β¬800 and on top of that wait 2 hours for the car to be returned by a customer!!!!
This is when we left the shop and went to the train station...
What B-rent did and the way they handled their made up situation is by no means acceptable of any serious business who cares for customers! People make in advance travel plans to have some peace of mind not for unreasonable greedy companies like B-rent to act like thieves and ruin their holidays!

β β β β β We booked a car for 2 days for around 60 Euros. We should have picked up the car at 1 pm. Due to a flight delay we arrived 4 hours late. B-Rent canceled the reservation and gave the car to someone else. We were offered a new car for 200 Euros.... So in the end we payed 60 Euros + 200 Euros. I would never ever book again with B-Rent again.
update: might be in your terms of conditions. But I aarived late at serveral rental car companies and I never had a problem like that before... I payed for that car!! It is like booking and paying for a hotel room - they would not give away that room just because I arrive later. And I did arrive at your company within the opening hours. Your method might be in accordance to your terms of conditions but 59 minutes? That is rediculous and not customer friendly at all!

β β β β β 1. To arrive to the rental desk you need to take a shuttle who has capacity for more or less 10 persons. I was in a line with 50 persons ahead and the shuttle was coming every 5-10 minutes. The place where the line is doesnβt have any protection for the sun so waiting there during 40 minutes wasnβt nice.
2. I booked an automatic Alfa Romeo Julia or similar online and they gave me a Fiat 500 - non automatic. The car is even small for 1 if you have a big luggage like me.
3. They only recognised my driver license when paying the most expensive insurance.
4. They charged me 140 euros for 6 extra hours (they considered a one extra day) when the original price was 50 euros for 2 days, rip off.
5. They charged me a refueling service of 30 euros when they literally told me that I could return the car as I wanted without any extra charge than the price of the fuel. This is because, of course, my tank wasnβt full when I first took the car.

β β β β β Do not rent from this company. They are terrible. I reserved a luxury car online (paid more), and they gave me a Toyota Yaris. It took me over an hour (even though I already had a reservation) to get the car from when I walked in their door. The car was in poor condition (scratches everywhere and not clean). They almost tried blaming me for the scratches that were already there... luckily I took a bunch of pictures and could prove to them they had already existed. I was also charged an extra $50 because I showed a picture of my passport instead of the real thing (as a 2nd for of identification). That was the cherry on top. They should be out of business.

β β β β β Warning: Do Not Book With This Company
I am a regular traveller and I rent cars from Naples 5+ times a year. I speak passable Italian and have never had a problem before but this September when I decided to try B-Rent , huge mistake, it cost me over Β£350 because I did not have a credit card from a bank!
They do not consider Virgin as a bank folks- this is not something that I have experienced from any other supplier in Italy or any other rental company in UK or Europe for that matter. I had to pay the excess from my debit card , even though I had certification of my annual excess insurance and a perfectly valid credit card in my name blah blah! The only positive was the woman who dealt with me , as they screwed me for 350 + quid was very pleasant . The guys in the car park were really ignorant and completely unhelpful as well. Like I said I have always had a really positive experience over the years which made this one so extraordinary. I wonβt touch them again and I strongly urge you to look elsewhere- just not worth the risk.

* we got a car like the one we ordered.
* the whole rental procedure went well * the deposit returned to the account
* we left the car in the parking lot early in the morning. no one asked him but we did not get any full money liabilities.
* minus: the shuttle bus to the airport runs only from 9 am. (5-10 minutes on your feet to the aiport).
* it was hard for us to find the entrance to the car park of the rental company. I think the entrance is badly marked
