★ ★ ★ ★ ★ e' un piccolissimo museo realizzato nei locali della canonica della pieve di Sant'Appiano ed ospita principalmente i reperti archeologici provenienti dalla necropoli etrusca di San Martino ai Colli. Urne etrusche in alabastro decorate con scene del mito greco che conservano ancora tracce di pittura, ceramica attica... merita una visita, magari di sabato pomeriggio o la domenica mattina quando è possibile visitare anche l'attigua pieve romanica. Ingresso libero. Sono accettate piccole donazioni (non obbligatorie!).
It is a very small museum built in the rectory of the parish church of Sant'Appiano and mainly houses the archaeological finds from the Etruscan necropolis of San Martino ai Colli. Etruscan alabaster urns decorated with scenes from the Greek myth that still retain traces of painting, Attic pottery ... worth a visit, maybe on a Saturday afternoon or Sunday morning when you can also visit the adjacent Romanesque church. Free admission. Small donations are accepted (not mandatory!).
