★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Owner came out and showed the fish he had caught that day. Told us how best to prepare each. Recommended delicious St Peters fish for three. Made spaghetti for simple eater in our crew. Couldn’t have expected more. Good English. Highly recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We walked in about 2:30 PM for lunch and are glad we did. Sergio offered us a choice of antipasti and pasta or secundo. We choose the first and he asked us to let him decide and if we didn't like it we didn't have to pay. We've never gotten a bad meal under those conditions before. So, why not?
We had a great meal. The house wine was a good Nero D'Avola. That night he was going fishing with his father and tomorrow he expected to have fresh "still alive" sea bass, tuna, and maybe swordfish and rockfish. Try this place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is honestly one of the best restaurants I have ever been to.
The atmosphere was cozy and just the right level of elegant. The staff was highly attentive. Most importantly, there was not a thing we ordered that wasn't absolutely delicious. There were creative entrees too, for dessert I had a Crème Brûlée that the chef had literally spiced up with some sort of home-prepared infusion of Tabbaco, it had flavors I have never experienced before or since (though admittedly I am not a smoker, perhaps smokers or Tabbaco chewers would be more familiar with the flavors and sensations but they were unique to me.)
For places like this one normally has to pay outrageous prices and suffer the institution's innate pretentiousness, but there was none of that here. The prices were extremely reasonable for the high quality and inventiveness of the food, and the atmosphere was friendly.
I can't recommend this place enough.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Such a nice place, there is a small terrace and the inside doesnt hold more than 20/30 people but for once you are not eating and sharing conversation with the table next to you. What you read on reviews is true, the staff is super friendly, and the boss lead by example. He will explain to you all about the different fresh fishes, catched on the day! The food is really tasty, for a small bill. Go go go!
