★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a very nice restaurant for a romantic dinner 'al fresco'. The food is great and the staff are very friendly. Well done to the 2 ladies that were serving the entire terrace on a Saturday evening. I would recommend the owners to hire more staff, but appart from that, this was a great experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ the (4-5?) wines we tried were very good, with different personalities. We were served small deep fried appetizers that really hit the spot. Unfortunately, most of the staff (2 out of 3!) did not know the characteristics of the wines as we ordered: did not expect that. We had dinner once, and the food was tasting very good, of high quality.

Lots a intimately lit tables, served by incredibly knowledgeable and friendly people and the wine and food was simply exceptional. Quite possibly the best meal I’ve enjoyed in Italy, or anywhere. No exaggeration

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ best atmosphere, the tables are placed in the alley and so you can watch people and the hustle and bustle of the city while dining. the greeting from the kitchen was thoughtful and exquisite. for our starter we chose caponata. the tasteful play with chocolate, vegetables, cheese and sauce was heavenly. probably the best preparation of this famous starter of our entire sicilian trip. the pasta dishes that followed were no less impressive. as i had to drive for another 2 hours after dinner, i was unfortunately unable to taste any wine. a must here. the service, on the other hand, was a little frosty. anyway, we would definitely go again.
