Love this place, highly recommended for good food and awesome customer service. They even speak different languages to cater to tourists ;)

A hidden gem. This is a must for the off track tourist. A classy, extremely well priced place, that is so easy to pass by. Trust me, this is well worth a visit, if only for the incredibly cheap drinks menu. €1.50 for a glass of the house wine? You’d be mad to pass it up!

This restaurant has it all: great food, incomparably kind and observant waiters, and a great ambiente. We ate here as a group of 6 consisting of 2 children and four adults. We were treated with the utmost respect, kindness, and courtesy, and all left the place euphoric and fulfilled. Soups, salads, pizzas, risotto - they were all amazingly delicious, and at a cost that easily beats 90% of the local restaurants. The white house wine was very good (considering the price). We even reveived superb limoncello on the house. The kids kept exclaiming that they had never had a better pizza in their lives! When he noticed that our tables were getting crammed, one of the waiters pulled up an empty table to ectend ours with. When one of the kids dropped a fork, a waiter was there in a heartbeat to swap it for a clean one. Oh, and they had a wheelchair-accessible bathroom! Free wi-fi, too. All in all, we couldn't have dreamt of a better place to have had our lunch at. The thrice as expensive restaurant we went to the night previous had terrible, ridiculously overpriced food in a much less comfortable setting and the worst ever service to go with it. We'll gladly return to la Antica Osteria on all future visits to this beautiful city! PS: All the waiters who served us spoke English, German, and Spanish (in addition do their mother tongue, Italian).

Was walking along the smaller canals in Venice and were welcomed by the friendliest man at the door, we couldn't help but go in. We had the spaghetti pesto, and it was fantastic. The service was incredible. Don't leave Venice without stopping in and visiting this great restaurant.

This place is just okay. I heard a microwave go off before they served our lasagna which is a bit concerning. They could at least heat it up by an oven. The crab gnocchi had microscopic pieces of crab. Could have mistaken those pieces for the parm cheese. FYI they have a 1€ bread and cover charge. Not impressed.

Creative food, friendly staff, high quality products. We had an original pasta dish the chef was experimenting and serving for the first time, and a fish dish perfectly roasted (not too much) with a tasty, crispy skin. I noticed the cook calls the waiter by ringing a small bell when a dish is ready for serving, some guests may have mistaken the bell for a microwave bell, because is sounds similar.

We stumbled upon this gem in Venice and we were so impressed by the friendliness of the waiter, the chef and by the amazing food. We were told that they are under new management and they seem to be doing a great job. Highly recommended!

The restaurant was very nice and staff were so good and helpfull. Remember it's a fine dining restaurant and the portipn pf the foods are not that mucb, so it seems like it's an expensive restaurant. But it worth because of the quality. We wasted our money in other reataurants. We ordered Risotto(it was like rice soup with a local fish) and Cappelachi(ravioli filled by beef). Risotto was good but the fish portion was small and as I mentioned it is a fine dining restaurant so it was ok. Cappelachi was so good and tasty. Do not forget to ordere french fries because it was very good and crispy.
