DO NOT - I repeat, DO NOT PATRONISE THIS RESTAURANT. Worst experience and service I have experienced in the whole of Italy. They advertised a set menu on a sign outside their stall but insisted later that all 3 of us must order 3 sets - no sharing. The plump old waiter with grey long hair was extremely rude and kept pressing us to make orders every 10 seconds, and insisted we order drinks. When we ordered less than he expected, he and another Indian waiter laughed at us and gave us only 2 plates for 3 persons. Throughout the meal the restaurant gave incredible service to other european patrons (cheese, iced water, pepper and salt and wine) but there was no such service for us chinese. We had a spaghetti bolognese and prosciutto pizza, both of which were soggy and salty. The waiter accidentally (or perhaps intentionally) served us spaghetti bolognese with meatballs instead without telling us before we ate, which resulted in our bill becoming more expensive. That's 3 euros extra for 2 measly, unappetising meatballs. When we clarified the bill the boss made the poor Chinese student waiter pay for the difference instead. We returned the 3 euros to the Chinese waiter. Ruined a great night in Venice. Don't be deceived by them.

I had Spaghetti with cuttlefish sauce, escalope meat with wine sauce and green salad. Green salad we had choices to mix it ourselves with olive oil or vinegar. I was not a fan of salad but vinegar was too sour for me. One of the famous dish in Venice was Spaghetti with cuttlefish sauce. It was not as hot as I expected but it tasted very good and I like it most. Escalope meat with wine sauce was ok, sauce tasted nice and cheesy but escalope was a little bit dry.

Fantastic! The homemade pasta is outstanding, as are the fried potatoes and fries. Softdrinks are priced like beers and the 12% service is standard. But the staff are great and we had a delicious dinner. Recommended!

DO NOT BOTHER. Whole place smells of sewege and the food isn't much better. The mixed seafood made me ill afterwards and the seasonal vegetables tasted like they were going off and were caked in butter to disguise it. What's worse , when I complained about my meal they refused to take anything off the bill as I'd eaten some of it therefore they claimed it was fine

All the food here is nasty, but you're still paying high Venice prices. We had chicken alfredo, lasagna (tasted like Chef Boyardee), pizza, vegetable soup (out of a can in all likelihood)... It was all gross. It took us all night to work through the emotional pain of wasting our time and money. The waiter was nice enough I suppose. Sort of. And that's why this place gets 1 star and not 0.

Dont recommend at all. Yes, they have this Daily Menu for 12,50 that provides you with more food than you would usually get somewhere else. But it is not worth it. I got a lasagna for first dish, which was worse than the microwave lasagnas you buy in the supermarket. For second dish I ordered liver a la Venetto with polenta, which was also awful. My italian side was crying inside. The meat was hard, the sauce wasnt well seasoned and the polenta was cold. Not to say about the waiters, they all seemed drunk, kept trying to make us order more things, like alcoholic drinks, kept making stupid jokes with other turists. I recommend the restaurant in front of that, which was well served and also for a fair price.

Charming restaurant! The decoration of this restaurant is amazing! There are lots of beautiful pictures on the walls. This is definitively one of the cheapest options to eat in the city. They serve menu of the day for 12,50 euros, that includes first dish and dessert. The service was good and they do not charge corpetto.

I really liked the Pizza Capricciosa we ordered, very fresh and filling. Unfortunately they would not do half and half pizzas. The delivery was rather quick and the waiter was very nice. Overall a very pleasant experience. The doorman greeting us knew of our home town back in Australia ?? a pleasant surprise so far from home. The drinks we expensive and water - Like everywhere in Venice - was an extra charge.
