Except sommelier, service was quite good. But, taste was too strong for me to find virtue of ingredients. Maybe good for people who eat strong flavor foods, and who don't have strong preference of wine. Sommelier was quite unprofessional. He pushed us to have glass of sparkling wine, from 6 kinds include standard "Gosset" and especially he pushed "Ca'del Bosco Millesimato Zero" as he visited winery 2 days ago as wonderful. Unfortunately, they both were my unfavorite wines. So we ordered 1 bottle of Champagne from wine list. Then, he suddenly became very angry face, (or just shocked or sad, I don't know) since then, he would never say any words to us. And serving us much more roughly than any other tables. Being served roughly by silent guy with angry face until end wasn't happy experience at all. Also not acceptable service for 1 star restaurant. Sadly, taste of foods wasn't my favorite, either. Too strong to find delicate flavor of ingredient itself. I think it's not traditional way of Italian cuisine. Actually chef stayed in USA, I heard. Taste of this restaurant may not be good for the people who want to find flavor of ingredients who are most of Italian, French and Japanese. Dessert was great, by the way.

I went there after they got a star Michelin. That was a marvelous experience, the food is amazing and the service sublime thank you to all the team for looking after me so well. See you the next time that I am passing from Venice.

An amazing food experience with a Venetian take on delicious dishes. Our favorite dish was the Risone with GΓ² fish. Would really recommend the blue cheese from their platter aswell. I love how the Chef stands in the pass and the open kitchen they have.

Very good fish and vegetable based tasting menu. Not too sweet. Sufficient food not to leave hungry. And actually very good value for money, even if expensive. The visit was a highlight not just compared to all the bad food venues in Venice. I recommend the 9 courses. It is a joke that the restaurant does not have a Michelin star. Other chefs can also learn a lot about composing a menu from this chef. Great idea with the cards and the bread served in the middle. Only thing I would do differently is baking a lighter bread.

Came by for 7-course dinner, two cocktails, and two glasses of wine. Price came to 290 euros. Not great but the Michelin star lets them pump up their pricing and keep guests coming. The tasting menu had some highlights: ceviche, the chicken liver cicchetti, and the deconstructed tiramisu. That said, and this truly and unfortunately is not an exaggeration, the local catch and white asparagus dish was the worst-tasting dish I have ever tasted in any food establishment in my life. My wife and I have very different taste preferences but both independently had to fight the urge to vomit. Whether it was bad fish, or the gimmicky β€œlactic acid” twist on the asparagus had gone wrong, the dish was completely off and ruined an otherwise acceptable dinner.

Absolutely adored this place. They really made it an approachable tasting menu experience that wasn't stuffy at all. We were debating on whether to do the 7-course or 9-course experience, and we were so glad we did the 9. The two dishes that we were most impressed with were included in the 9, so treat yourself to it! The staff was also incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. They came with a little surprise halfway through the meal that I won't spoil for you. Another unique aspect of the tasting is that each dish came with its own little card to elaborate on the inspiration of the dish or the star ingredient. I loved this, because I feel like often times we aren't able to process and remember all the information that the waiters give you when they serve each dish to you.

What a wonderful dinner. It was a great experience with a fantastic wine pairing along the way. I recommend a hotel if you plan on the 9 course meal. This is a return restaurant for us.

One of our best tasting menus ever. Chef Salvatore uses excellent local ingredients to take you on a food journey inspired by his trips throughout the world. The presentation of the food is outstanding. Worth asking sommelier Emanuel for a wine recommendation if you’re not going for the wine pairing option, they have a very notable wine selection. The restaurant has very relaxed vibes and the entire team is very friendly, warm and welcoming. One not to miss when you are in Venice.
