★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A magical gem in Tropea old town. Every course was an adventure. Everything about the place, from the decor to the menu, emboodies the feeling of magic and delight of its namesake. Strongly suggest the Alice appetizer. Don't forget to follow the advice of the little bottles on the table that say "Drink me".

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice seating in a quiet courtyard moments from the heart of the old town. Great service. We loved the selection of regional appetisers. Sea bass was delicious. Recommend the octopus and potato pie too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Usually, I only give 5 stars if, to me, not everything was perfect, but there is also something special that will stay on your mind for good. Even though the food was not perfect, the way they handled it was. We had two different appetizer plates that both were exceptional and beautifully decorated. A main dish, we had swordfish (very delicious) and a seafood plate. Unfortunately, the prawns on the seafood plate hadn`t been in fresh water for around 2 days, so they were not clean and that ruined my friend’s appetite, so she hardly ate anything from her main dish. The staff not only immediately offered to bring a new plate; when my friend rejected, they crossed it out from the bill without us having to ask for it. In addition, they didn`t charge the two Limoncellos.
To me – even if this should be normal – is a sign of high professionality to deal with mistakes.
Besides, the service was very friendly, the wine delicious and make sure to have a glimpse inside the restaurant when you stay outside, since the decoration is just outstanding.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Give Alice Restaurant a BIG Miss!
We have been in Italy for more than a week and this was easily the worst restaurant. The room is uncomfortable with bright white lights and the Alice in Wonderland theme is creepy. The food was as bad as the decor. The grilled vegetables were soggy and cold, the pasta with clams was tuff with few clams. And of course, the price was high. The service was anxious and pushing more to eat and drink. Very bad experience overall.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We went to Alice Restaurant last night and everything was perfect: the service, the food and the wine. I particularly appreciated the antipasto Alice which was very tasty, arranged beautifully with stunning colors, just like a piece of art.
