★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A nice pizzeria in the Tropea old town. Try local (I mean Calabrian) pasta: fileja, with 'nduja sauce. They didn't have draft beer, but this gave me the chance to try the bottled Moretti (.66 liters!).

We had some pizza, pasta and local red onion specialty. All was quite ok and prices at tropea niveau. All together a tipical tourist place with reasonable food.

Great place to eat in Tropea. The owner is friendly and his gorgeous daughters will bring you awesome capellini, rigatoni, or whatever you select. We are here from San Francisco, and have had food all over italy. Great place for middle high end portions.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We sat down for some time on a good spot (waiting to be served, or at least recognized properly). But although enough staff was going around (obviously a family-business), nobody served us! Eventually we stood up and left (without any of them caring too much). So we cannot tell anything about their food, but if they don't want our money, we'll spend it elsewhere ...
Food is one part, service and atmosphere the other one. Both are important (hopefully they will learn this lesson one day) ...
