★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We walked in by chance on a Thursday. Google says they are not open today but maybe their hours recently changed. Wow, the food is amazing! Reading the other reviews I guess any place has some variability in quality. I'm giving the rating based on our experience.
Definitely worth stopping by if you want a nice relaxing meal. Dinner for 5 took about 90 minutes although we didn't get dessert.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stumbled into this adorable little spot by accident because it started to rain. AMAZING food. AMAZING service. Waiter helped us pick out the perfect bottle of wine with our meal and even taught us a thing or two about wine tasting. We’ll be back, 100 times over!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ AMAZING FOOD!!! I went here for the first time 4 years ago and the food was so good that in planning this trip abroad, I made sure to stop in Rome to enjoy another good meal. Don’t believe the other reviews....yes it takes about 2 hours for a full dining experience, but it is that....an experience and it is to be enjoyed and not looking at your watch. I have recommended this place to everyone that I know that visits Rome and they have all said AMAZING! They are closed Wednesday and Thursday and only open for dinner. Yes they accept credit cards. They also have the restaurant next door...Osteria al 16. Great wine selection and a well extensive menu. Apps range up to €8, Pasta €9-12, Main Course €14-18, Sides are about €8 each, Desserts €6.....the wine is what brings the ticket up because it is sold by the bottle....my bottle was €18.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A little restaurant in retro style, cozy and in a way romantic. We arrived that evening to Rome very late, and this restaurant was right next to our apartment, open until last guest. We came in there like at 11 pm. And a waitor was very attentive and nice, speaking English, recommended really good wine for a price we wanted. We didn't wait long for bruschetta, like 10 min, and in 20 min we got our spaghetti which probably were not the best in the world but pretty decent. So we were very happy and satisfied with food and wine.

I ordered a risotto with seafood. And it was almost no seafood inside :( Just a lot of rice. Quiet pricey for 16 euros to get just rice
