A	Antonino Basile on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Non è affatto un luogo dove soggiornare. Abbandonato a se stesso, camere non completate e bagni senza phon e bidet. Bar e ristorante chiusi, piscina non trovata, lenzuola in materiale plastico e usurate oltre ogni ragionevole modo. Illuminazione esterna fioca veranda al buio. Unica nota positiva la posizione, meglio col camper però. It is not a place to stay at all. Left to itself, unfinished rooms and bathrooms without hairdryer and bidet. Bar and restaurant closed, swimming pool not found, plastic sheets and worn beyond any reasonable way. Dim exterior lighting on veranda in the dark. The only positive note is the position, better with the camper, however.
m	monica galavotti on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Soggiornare in mezzo ad un agrumeto è bellissimo per noi che siamo emiliani. Area sosta ben organizzata, ogni piazzola con attacco luce e rubinetto d'acqua. La piscinetta un bel surplus in mezzo agli agrumi, molto gradevole per raffrescarsi. Le gole distano 3/400 mt in salita, poi se si fa il biglietto comunale costa 1,5 € l'accesso con 220 gradini di discesa/salita. Invece il biglietto con gestore privato sono 200 mt e ascensore discesa/salita con 8 €. Solo la risalita sono 5 €. Privato o comunale porta allo stesso punto sul fiume. Ma vale la pena per una sosta. Paesaggio mozzafiato. Se volete fare un po' di scivolatine sul fiume è meglio avere la muta corta, si sta più tempo in acqua. Area sosta tranquilla e gestori molto gentili. Non abbiamo provato il ristorante perché eravamo di passaggio veloce. Costo giornaliero 20 € tutto compreso. 4 stelle e non 5 perché alle 19.30 l'acqua calda era quasi esaurita. Doccia tiepida. Ma tutto pulito e ordinato. Staying in the middle of a citrus grove is beautiful for us as we are from Emilia. Well organized parking area, each pitch with electricity and water tap. The paddling pool is a nice surplus among citrus fruits, very pleasant to cool down. The gorges are located 3/400 meters uphill, then if you do the municipal ticket costs € 1.5 access 220 steps downhill / uphill. Instead the ticket with private manager is 200 mt and lift down / up with € 8. Only the ascent is € 5. Private or communal leads to the same point on the river. But it is worth a stopover. Breathtaking landscape. If you want to do some 'of scivolatine the river is better to have shorty, you are most time in the water. Rest area quiet and very nice managers. We did not try the restaurant because we were fast passage. Daily cost € 20 all inclusive. 4 stars and not 5 because at 19.30 the hot water was almost exhausted. Warm shower. But all clean and tidy.

I frutti cresceranno... Ma intanto una fresca piscina immersa fra alberi di limoni... Aranci... E mandarini rinfresca i caldi pomeriggi... Personale gentilissimo! Consiglio vivamente di cenare alla eco struttura... Il cibo è spettacolare, genuino e abbondante! Un piacere per. Il palato! Delizie servite da Nerina... With a side dish of rosemary and mint. All the comforts maintaining the naturalness of the place. The fruits will grow ... But in the meantime a cool pool surrounded by lemon trees ... Orange trees ... And mandarins refreshes the hot afternoons ... Very kind staff! I highly recommend having dinner at the eco structure ... The food is spectacular, genuine and abundant! La signora al telefono ci ha confermato la prenotazione guardandosi bene dal precisare che il campeggio è semiabbandonato. Niente piscina, niente ristorante, niente bar docce sgarrupate. Unico lato positivo è la vicinanza all'entrata delle gole. Dopo DUE ore abbiamo deciso di andarcene. CI HANNO FATTO PAGARE VENTI EURO PER DUE ORE DI PARCHEGGIO CON ALLACCIO ELETTRICO. Naturalmente senza ricevuta fiscale! STATENE ALLA LARGA! We stayed today 23 July 2020. We had booked a pitch for a camper and two people. The lady on the phone confirmed the reservation, making sure not to mention that the campsite is half abandoned. No swimming pool, no restaurant, no rude showers bar. The only positive side is the proximity to the entrance of the gorges. After TWO hours we decided to leave. THEY HAD USED TO PAY TWENTY EURO FOR TWO HOURS OF PARKING WITH ELECTRIC CONNECTION. Of course without a tax receipt! STAY AWAY!

Area camper completa di tutti i servizi, corrente e acqua in piazzola.Non molto ombreggiato ma la sera rinfresca molto. Unico neo i bagni non troppo curati e datati e i bidoni per le immondizie pochi piccoli e non differenziati. Prezzo giusto per l'area, poco caro il ristorante. Gentilezza e simpatia del personale. Peace and tranquility just steps from the gorges. The restaurant is also good. Camper area complete with all services, electricity and water in the pitch. Not very shady but in the evening it refreshes a lot. The only drawback is that the bathrooms are not too tidy and dated and the bins for garbage are small and not very differentiated. Fair price for the area, inexpensive restaurant. Kindness and friendliness of the staff.

This farmstay (agriturismo) is right next door to the Alcantara Gorge entrance which gives it top marks for best location to stay in this area. The San Cataldo agriturismo trail is also just 1km away. I stayed here with my family for a couple of nights but should have made it at least a week. The area is so relaxing and you’re surrounded by mountains, running streams and fresh air. The site is popular with campers which gives it a nice community feel too. The on-site restaurant is one of those gems that you’d never know about unless you’ve stayed here. The produce used to make the meals is all grown on local land. There is no menu as such but if you tell the waiter your requirements you will be made something that you’ll love! I’m vegan. The waiter Francesco recommended different options for lunch and dinner each day and the chef Giovanna was happy to rustle up the most beautiful fresh dishes on demand. While you stay here you have to try the conserves and nut butters also made here and sold in the onsite farm shop. We bought a jar of everything.. Quince, Strawberry, Mulberry, Goji Berry, Apricot, Orange. The nut creams are like nothing I’ve ever tried! We bought Pistachio, Hazelnut and Almond. Finally the fresh bottled juices can only be described as liquid jam. Sicilian Orange and Apricot nectar from the Gods!! I can’t wait to come back to Sicily. Next time I’ll be staying here for a lot longer! Signora Laura and staff.. thank you all for a lovely stay.
