β β β β β Really disappointed with the poor quality of the room stuck round the back of the building, looking out onto a few trees whilst those at the front have a stunning view over the sea and Etna. No difference in price but really disappointing to draw the short straw! Very small room, entirely characterless, low quality, tasteless fittings, fixtures and soft furnishings with an equally nasty bathroom. Distinctly average. Pool has a fantastic panorama but is itself really dirty - you could make marks in the dirt and scum on the sides of the pool. In the car park just below is one of those many piles of disgusting, rotting, uncollected rubbish. The positive reviews are really hard to understand but perhaps those people either had a good room or havenβt experienced what a really good quality Agriturismo is like .. there really is NO comparison. Stayed at four other places just on this visit, every one much better within the same price range...if you are still intending to visit, ask in advance NOT to stay in rooms 5 or 6!!

β β β β β Typical Sicilian agriturismo overlooking Giardini Naxos and next to an airstrip. Rita is a great host and the place is 5Star. We stayed there several times over the years and do not regret it. Mare Kambo restaurant down the hill compliments the place perfectly. Taormina is just up the hill. Highly recommended.

β β β β β We had a spontanious booking one day prior and a very fair rate for a 3-bed room (breakfast included). Very late arrival (11:30 PM) but we got a nice dinner with amazing pizza by very friendly staff. Hotel offers a pool and a great view on the vulcano. Its a bit off the track with a quiet atmosphere and almost nobody else around. A real "insider" spot to relax and enjoy sicily landscape. 100% recomondation!

β β β β β Serra San Biagio is the place to go to discovering the area around Catania and the Etna. Start the day with a typical sicilian breakfast on the terrace of the Serra and enjoy a wonderful view over the bay and Catania with an americano in your hand. This is what holiday in sicilia is ment to be. And after your daytrip, come back, have an apperitivo before your evening meal. The cook is awesome and delights your sins with awesome local ingredients and recipes. We for ourselves had a wonderful time and will come back. 4 sure! β€??
