Consiglio vivamente per chi ha problemi di dolori ossei di fare la preghiera passando 7 volte sotto l'altare del Santo San Firmano protettore per i dolori!! Truly lovely place !! Se la trovate chiusa potete chiedere informazioni al bar accanto che dispone delle chiavi e predispone l’illuminazione. Sono molto gentili e cordiali. L’abbazia si presenza su due livelli , un altare decisamente rialzato. Particolare la cripta in questo caso sotterranea posizionata sotto l’altare che custodisce la statua di San Firmano patrono di Montelupone , un santo la cui storia si differenzia dagli altri perché nella sua vita non è colui che fa i miracoli ma colui che chiede il miracolo. San Firmano viene ricordato con una festa che si svolge nella prima metà di marzo. Altra particolarità di questa abbazia le innumerevoli croci dei templari ben visibili nella cripta. Sembra che il restauratore dell abbazia sia un massone noto del tempo. A unique, exceptional abbey.
