★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We came as a large group, and fortunately the Italians hit it off with the waiter. Three hours of good food, drink, and fun ensued.
Is it the best on the island? Probably not. But it’s good and we enjoyed ourselves.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stumbled into A' Lumeredda while walking around Malfa around lunchtime. We had no expectations but ended up amazed at the food and hospitality....they literally could not have been nicer or more helpful. The pasta dish, the grilled fish and the tiramasu were as good as we've had at much fancier places. This lovely spot is a complete winner - give it a try with a good attitude (yeah, I'm talking to the one-starrer out there) and you won't be disappointed!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I don't know what happened but old reviews of over one year ago seem all very good. Yet recent reviews seem very bad... Painfully enough our experience was very poor too. The only positive was the location. Staff was very unfriendly, I had the impression they had a predjudice against tourists. Food was of very poor quality. A disgrace to the general exquisite quality of Italian cuisine. I seriously considered not paying my bill or leaving the table early.
Avoid this place!
My advice to the owner. Keep the location change everything else.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We’ve eaten at incredible places including the Michelin star Signum Hotel 5 mins walk from here so appreciate good food, quality service and ingredients and A’Lumeredda has it all! The sweetest outdoor terrace and the kindest staff were impressive value for money. The spaghetti with clams & prawns was THEE BEST and the Sicilian pizza very authentic. The Aeolian salad and THE BEST anchovies to start were amazing also. We had Messini beer then homemade Limoncello with a pistachio tiramasu from the local baker and an Aperol Prosecco spritz which was excellent. The total bill was only €70 but we ate soooo much and was worth meeting the kind waiter and helpful waiter Graziano
