★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food was fantastic — fresh and beautifully prepared — with the pasta as good as I’ve ever tasted. The proprietress is quite young and extraordinarily nice. And he kitchen is spotless which I’ll try not to hold against them. All A+!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Would give 0 if could. The single worst meal we've had so far in Italy. Or anywhere, for a long time. 40 Eur for two plates of pasta, one of which was literally a bowl of fusilli with three prawns chucked on top. Slow service, offering a "kind of swordfish" for a daily special. Truly terrible.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had in Trattori A Quadara one of our 5 dinner at Salina. The food belongs to one of the best, but the service was a bit disorganized and seemed to be stressed. We had a mixed plate and pasta as starter and the swordfish filet and rolls as main course, it was really good. Only the pasta was just okay. The vine was good, the dolci (Semifredo Pistaccio) excellent. The price level is a bit high but "normal" for Salina.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We passed the trattoria by accident and asked for a table for lunch.
The waitress told us that by now they normally would have closed but the chef said it would be fine.
The food was excellent and as we asked again for the regular opening hours the lady said that they were only open for a special occasion.
Thank you so much for your hospitality.
What a fine experience.
