★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Came here for dinner. I had the parmegianna, which was a small portion and strangely half cold half warm then swordfish pasta. Both were ok but didn't hit the heights of other meals I've had on Sicily or the Aeolian Islands - not the same depth of flavour nor as well executed. The service was fast but not quite as friendly as I've come to expect.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful location eating on the balcony looking out towards Lipari. Service was very attentive, starters excellent. Main course a little disappointing and dry (over cooked). Prices on the high side, but reasonable of quality and venue. Next time I’d have 2 starters!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We have been there on a low-season weekly day, there were almost no other tourists on the island and surprisingly we had a very good service and several options.
The place has a beautiful view and it offers the traditional Aeolian cuisine (btw the Aeolian spaghetti is vegan).
Service excellent, prices a bit higher than Sicily but in line with the rest of the Aeolian islands.
NOTE: the place was full of cats, we love them so no worries, but pay attention if you are deadly allergic.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a lovely experience at Trattoria Cucinotta. First of all, the view is absolutely amazing. Second of all, the food is excellent! The special of the day was pasta with swordfish eggs, which was so delicious. Staff was extremely kind, so kind that they let us eat even though we didn’t book in advance (which you should do!), as there was one tiny empty table. Would definitely recommend for a lovely evening in Salina!
