★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent location overlooking the harbour, good views, good staff, delicious food. One of our party noticed that their pasta portion was smaller than the others and mentioned it to the waiter - so by way of apology they brought us a complimentary platter of mixed seafood for the whole take to share - now that's excellent customer service!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful ambience and good food. We really enjoyed a relaxed night sitting outside. They made us a nice custom platter of fish - and treated us like locals. We would go back anytime.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The restaurant is overlooking the harbour, it has also a lovely bar. The ambience is very nice, the staff is extremely polite and efficient. We had a reservation mix up, they didn't give us a table we asked for but their sincere apologies made it up for it. The food was very good, even though I thought it was a bit dry for my taste, but: de gustibus non disputandum est :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Came with perhaps too much of an expectation.. After all I had some amazing dinners in Sicily and this came recommended as the best spot in the Eolic Islands!
Food itself was sadly underwhelming, albeit hospitality was very good and so was the scenery.
I'm sure a bad day can just happen as it all came out cold, both my pasta al fuoco and the clams pasta... And the swordfish rolls.. Which are usually a sure hit!
Starters were ok but not quite a knockout, expecially the tuna salad. Desserts strangely were disappointing too! ? The cassata and the pistacchio cake were waaay too sweet ...
What a pity!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We loved Porto Bello so much we came back again for the same meal. We had the pistachio encrusted swordfish and Pasta al fuoco on our first night and went back for seconds. The next time the lovely staff helped us pick our fish and made it perfectly to our liking. Best meal we had on the island!
