★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Super little port next to a fabulously beautiful village with good shops and restaurants. Maybe too busy in the high season but otherwise a must for cruisers. Power and water, of course.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good place for mooring, sheltered from wind. But in the afternoon no chance for free place. Good service, helping with mooring, English speaking at the office. Water and electricity on the wharf, included in the harbour fee. Call VHF ch.11 for assistance.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice port, but Lipari has much more atmosphere and simply has got good places to eat out. Nearest good restaurant at Salina is on the other side of island so you have to rent a car - not best port to stop & eat.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice small port, good for access to the island. The port hasn't much to see but a few nice restaurants and shops allow for a nice evening meal and stroll in some of the most Italian places you'll see. However, other spots on the Aeolian Islands are more beautiful, such As Isola di Pannarea.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A lovely island to explore with easy access to car hire or bus to get from one side of the island to the other. The town is small and quaint with a choice of places to eat. Strong ties to the film “il postino” so if you get the chance see it before you go.
