★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Terrible hygiene, stay away! Right after we sit at a table the staff brought a huge garbage bin from the street, the waitress opened the lid with bare hands began trowing waste in it, seconds after this she was cutting bread without washing her hands, she touched all the spoons, forks and knifes, than prepared our table and served us the bread.!
Not to mention that they confused the order, gave us the wrong meal, and the beef was not good. We were very disappointed, the worst place we have ever ate!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I'm fully disappointed. I was feeling like unneeded guest - the waiter was rude and unpleasant. We ordered meals from tourist menu and we regreted when we saw our dishes - it was different than other dishes served for italian consumers. Pasta tasted like tomatoes served directly from can with a few parts of ham. It was waste of money and time. NOT recommend

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cozy tavern with ambiance, good food, and good service. The salad is fresh and the clams were delicious. Toasted garlic bread with olive oil and fresh basil is awesome.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Crying hell. I have heard about Al dente before. But these noodles have been so undercooked, that I can consider myself lucky that I still have teeth. Soup was definitely canned.
Generally to expensive, food quality is very low. Not even in another country I would consider that to be anywhere near Italian Cuisine. Most ready made food at your regular discounter would put this place to shame.
Sadly, as english is only my second language, I lack the terminology to describe how bad this experience was.
Literally the only thing that was acceptable was the beer. And even that comes at a salted price.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pizza made in front of your eyes in a nice Wood oven, super kind excellent and fast service delicious food and prices so affordable make this humble but plenty of authentic Italian atmosphere one of my favorites in Rome, just steps from Roma Termini train station it is a place for locals. I highly recommend it for a nice and really unexpensive dinner or lunch if you are in that area. Btw the real name I think is Taverna Alba
