★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I read the reviews before I came. The so-called "the best Chinese food in Rome" is unfortunately very disappointing. If it is truly the best Chinese food in Rome, I feel bad for Roman people who eat there.
ps. Be aware that the off-menu dishes (written on the black board) are much more expensive than the dishes on the menu.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great experience eating Chinese food here. The tripe salad was great. Wontons in chilli soup was nice. And for laziji, I think they could get rid of more blood taste by adding Chinese wine, etc.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’ve always liked Beef Sichuan, but I didn’t know that Sichuan food is food from Sichuan province in China until I had food at Old Chengdu Sichuan restaurant.
I have to say that it was the best Chinese food I ever had.(if you love spicy food you’ll probably like it too) And it was something I never tried before. Chinese restaurants I usually go to don’t offer Chinese food that is spicy. Can’t wait to try more of Sichuan food :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Terrible place, the reviews contributing to high rating are most probably fake. This is an average Chinese restaurant that serves pre-cooked or frozen thats fried again to serve to make it look fresh. Dumplings were uncooked, the chicken dish I ordered only had bones and some stale chicken pieces in it and the tofu had overpowering salty and peppery flavour to it.
All food items we ordered were saltier than sea water, probably to overcome no or bad taste of food. We left 90% of food, just finished our drinks and left within 10mins.
Please avoid, this ain’t one of the hidden gems.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very terrible. The food material is not fresh and all dishes are pre-cooked. The oil they used for cooking seems like recycled oil which tastes very weird. The fried chicken bones are dark black which must be frozen meat for many many years. The shrimps smell fishy and taste Bad. Please try to avoid eating in this restaurant. The high scores and reviews are just fake and not trustworthy.

If you love spicy and authentic Chinese food, this is the place!
Most of Chinese restaurant that you find in Rome are for Italian people so the taste is adjusted to Italian's standard. So if you miss or would like to try real Chinese food, you should come here!
Totally recommend this place !
