★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We can absolutely recommend the wine tasting at De Angelis. We were warmly welcomed by the owner and visited the whole winery at first. We booked a tasting of five wines which turned into a great evening with a great local food and wine experience. Absolute must when you visit Sorrento and the region.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had such a wonderful experience at De Angelis Winery. Rafaela and her husband were very warm and welcoming. We received a detailed history of the winery’s roots, family history, and it’s production process. All quite interesting and unique. Rafaela spent a great deal of time with us during the tasting, taking the time to carefully explain each wine and its origin. The bread, meat, cheese, and oils were a wonderful addition! The tour is done with a small group, ours included 5 people total. The winery is close to the city center, very easy to access. We highly recommend visiting the winery, as it helped to make our trip to Sorrento more informative and enjoyable. De Aneglis wine is found all throughout the city.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We just showed up today and they were kind enough to accommodate us for a tasting. The wine is pretty good, we had fun at the tasting too. However, we paid 65 euros each for the tasting (which is ok, I just think they should have told us upfront ). And also, we bought bottles of their Lacrima Christi del Vesuvio Bianco wine for 15 euro, only to walk a block to the grocery store and see it on the shelf for 6.4euro! Over 50% cheaper at the store! I am all for supporting small businesses, but that is ridiculous.
I wouldn’t waste my time with the tour. Just go to the grocery store and save yourself 130 euro for the tour.
It’s not about the money, it’s about the principal of overcharging your guests.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Historical winery in Sorrento, is you are looking for authenticity that's the place. The owner, Francesco, is deeply attached the this hundreds years old business and aims to preserve the local tradition. I can say that after 2 hours of visit. Tried 7 wines and all the them were really good... Some unique.
We bought 3 wines at the end. It worths to be visited because the cordiality of the owner and his willingness to share information.
