The structure is very nice and in a central position (it is a pity to have to use the car to enter the town due to the road adjacent to the structure which cannot be walked on, especially at night); from the structure, however, beautiful villages such as Montalcino, Montepulciano, Buonconvento, Pienza etc. are easily reachable. We stayed in a residence room: the room is very large and elegant, the only flaws are the low light (especially for the entrance where the wardrobe is located) and the lack of some basic utensils such as the colander. The bathroom is modern and well maintained, the shower very large and spacious, a shame about the lack of a window. The room was very nice, the bed was not very comfortable. From the room there is access to a small terrace where it was very pleasant to have lunch (tip: the umbrella does not open easily if you are not very tall) and with a beautiful view of the pool. The pool is beautiful, with a view over the Val d'Orcia, the water very cold. There is the obligation to wear a swimming cap even if unfortunately not everyone respects it ... Swimming pool for 10 anyway. The spa is a bit small and the price proportionally a bit high. The nearby restaurant is a big positive surprise. In conclusion, my experience was excellent, I gave 4 stars only for a few flaws.

È la terza volta che veniamo. Posto stupendo, personale meraviglioso e accogliente nonostante il week end caotico di Pasqua. Sempre pronti a soddisfare qualsiasi richiesta. Hotel pulitissimo e la colazione al buffet fresca e abbondante. Spa molto bella. Punto strategico per i paesi circostanti. Grazie infinite di tutto.
This is the third time we have come. Wonderful place, wonderful and welcoming staff despite the chaotic Easter weekend. Always ready to satisfy any request. The hotel was spotless and the breakfast buffet was fresh and plentiful. Very nice spa. Strategic point for the surrounding countries. Thank you so much for everything.

Not quite what I expected. A lot more modern than Tuscan but you can't fault the views . The swimming pool area looks out over Tuscan fields and is tranquil and you could quite effortlessly spend a day at the pool reading a book. This is a family resort and caters specifically for families with children. The room we had was split level which was different and cosy. There were also many bikers and they were familiar with the hotel and recommended what food we should eat. The restaurant was good and the service was friendly.

Don’t go there!! What a miserable hotel! Unless you like like old-fashioned rooms, dirty bath rooms, the water stopping when having a shower, the smell of bleach everywhere, uninterested staff and paying eur 188 per night while it should not be more than eur 60 per night. Seriously. The only good thing about the room was the panoramic view.

This place is very poorly managed; I am surprised that any of the employees stay for any amount of time. I tried to have a relaxing glass of wine in the lobby while my partner napped before dinner. I had to endure yelling by a woman who seemed to be either the owner or manager -- for OVER 45 minutes! I almost got up to tell her to shut up, but I was afraid that she would yell at me, too! Was she yelling at an employee, or a vendor over the phone? Who knows! The staff all looked like they were walking on eggshells all of the time. My guess is that they will now be yelled at because of this review -- "Why did you not tell me a guest was in the lobby while I was yelling?" Granted, the resort was very empty, so perhaps she did not know that her yelling could be heard all over the public areas. Which brings me to another point -- almost empty property, but we were put in a "handicap accessible" room, (which had a view of the construction site next door), which meant no enclosure around the shower. I have not seen this in Italy since I rented a cheap pensione in the 1980's. We flooded the bathroom every time we took a shower, which made the floor dangerously slippery. So, we put our used towels on the floor. There was a sign in the bathroom about how the Val d'Orcia is (was?) in a drought and that we should not ask for our towels to be laundered daily, but -- well -- our towels had to mop up the bathroom floor. Additionally, we complained twice that our toilet would not stop running (talk about water waste!). Twice they came and "fixed" the problem, but as soon as we flushed again, it ran non-stop. It was audible water-torture that we had to tolerate in the night. Also, we were granted the use of the spa pool the first night, but if we wanted to use it the second day, it would cost us 30 Euros each (!). When we checked out, we were told that we owed 120 Euros for the use of the spa pool! We told the woman that we only used it the first night because we were told it was gratis, and that we did not use it at all the second day because 60 Euros! After some time talking to someone else, the woman at the desk (not the yelling woman) removed those charges (but we were still charged 7 Euros for "mandatory" swimming caps). I am sure the nice man who let us use the pool was yelled at for this. The breakfast buffet was poor and the baked items were stale. The one redeeming aspect was the restaurant next door, which was absolutely welcoming and amazing, unlike this excuse for a resort. Save your money and go elsewhere.
