It looked closed from the outside but was actually full of italien families which is - if you asked us - by far the best recommondation for the food. English speaking, very friendly service, local vegetables, delicious pasta and desert, prices more than fair, go there!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Viternia Ristorante Pizzeria was a great find! If you are staying at one of many Masseria farm- stays near Fasano, this family-run local restaurant in town of Speciale is, well, Special! Our family loved the food, the outdoor ambiance and the great service. The food is all produced in-house using local ingredients. Perfect for casual fine dining for a couple or for a family with kids. Free parking in back. The prices are very reasonable the quality is high. Excellent value. We plan to come back again very soon.
This place is popular with local Italian families, seems that few foreign visitors have discovered Viternia. Angelo the owner clearly takes great pride in his food quality.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We dined with 10 friends for a special day at this restaurant...Availability of local tastes, delicious/beautiful plates and abundant portions combined with kindness of the staff and owner made our evening worth remembering. Highly recommended spaghetti con le vongole and paccheri with seasonal fish!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hidden away up a narrow road. Only found this venue from looking for restaurants in the local area to where we were staying. The decor is typically Italian. As is the friendly services. This is definitely a family run business. All the food appears to be cooked using local produce. The staff go out of their way to make you feel comfortable.
The buffalo mozzarella pizza is a must. The fish of the day was fresh and we'll cooked. We had the homemade limoncello to finish. 10/10 for food and service.
