★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The host looked at us and denied us entry. Refused us a table for two when there were plenty of open tables. She might have said why but did not say it in English and just shooed us away. Very rude.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food was good and quantity in abundance, all in all a rather bewildering evening at the Vineria though: After being seated we quickly noticed the wine card was absent, no biggie we thought, we can ask for it when the waitress comes to pick up the order, right? So she did but after taking down our menu she apparently decided that our turn to speak was over and went ahead with a commanding "VINO?". Uhh si please, but... "ROSSO?" ...yes but it would be nice if we could... And by that time she was already off halfway to kitchen. Well allright let's see what we get but sadly we ended up with two glasses of a mediocre nameless red wine to accompany our menu, which in itself was equally baffling since we only received about half of the courses listed and the rest were some random other dishes with a surprise cheese plate for 2 in between, none of which was on the original menu. Maybe it was lottery night at the vineria, neither of us knew what was going and at this point we were way past the window for complaints. The whole experience ended up being rather amusing. As I said the food we got was tasty but the service properly botched, most confusing of all not having a wine card at a vineria, also not being told the different kinds of house wines available etc. Guess we dodged a bullet on that one since we were looking to order a bottle and would've spent a lot more on drinks than we did, thanks to our inconsiderate waitress. Wouldn't return here but if you want to try your luck you might end up having a great time, who knows!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One star for the good traditional food, one star for the kindness of the staff, one star for a very pretty location location.
A missing star because they didn't split the price of each order on the bill, and we were forced to pay 60€ without knowing what we were paying for (and 60€ also felt too much for what we had ordered...).
A missing star 'cause we ordered a mixed salad, but they came back with a green salad saying they had no more vegetables for the mixed one. Advice: before changing the order, ask to the customer if it's ok. Second: the salad I got was clearly the one I buy at the supermarket, just taken straight from the bag and put on a plate, but instead of costing pennies, it got it for 5€. Ridiculous.
But apart from that, food and wine were very good, so that's why I'm giving it 3 stars.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great local family restaurant. We ate here on our last night in Italy and what a way to finish the trip. The food was excellent in a relaxed outdoor area. The person severing us (Madi - one of the family) was lovely and so eager to please her guests. She was full of energy and very friendly. The prices were very reasonable.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What an amazing find and only an 8 minute walk from the train station. Great staff, amazing ambiance, terrific food, and reasonably priced. They also have a number of vegetarian options. Last they have an extensive wine and spirits menu.
