β β β β β We took the Bernina Express train from Chur to Tirano and heard the man serving coffee recommend this restaurant to other passengers. So we decided to follow his advice and were not disappointed. This restaurant has exquisite food and the dishes combine flavors that we wouldn't have necessarily thought of mixing. Really go there and have a taste. We had the prawn spaghetti, the pistachio dish and the nut creme brΓ»lΓ©e. I still think about them.

β β β β β Food was amazing, and the service was exceptional! The waiters were super helpful with guidance on the local dishes:) We ended up seating outside (visited in July) and it was great - with a super view of the small local paved Italian street.

β β β β β Recommended to us by our hotel, this was a great local place in the old town of Tirano with a fantastic regional wine list. More upmarket than we had anticipated but still friendly and accommodating. Another once to try out your Italian but staff mostly speak good English. There is venison on the menu and regional delights.

Gourmet food, attention to details, a great wine list and an excellent wait staff. I was most impressed by the simple vegetable soup (minestrone), so delicate yet perfectly balanced, I could taste every single vegetable from the pumpkin to the peas. I canβt wait to come back and try more things on the menu!

β β β β β Truly great dishes in a unique setting! A special mention about the owner, so kind to offer a map of the city when I told him we wanted to explore the town. Good stakes. Also the Apple pie is especially tasty.

β β β β β An out of the way gem with a beautiful setting, delicate menu and authentic crowd. I'm not familiar with Tirano but I'm 110% sure this is the best place for a fine lunch in the town.

β β β β β Delicious restaurant in Tirano. If you're doing a day trip from the Bernina Express, take the short walk over here to have lunch instead of right by the train station. The food was delicious and reasonably priced.
